The biggest issue was the extremely poor packing quality. Proper packing materials were not used for large and delicate items. Important items such as the sofa and electronic appliances were packed without foam or adequate protective wrapping, which is a basic requirement during relocation. This clearly reflects a lack of professionalism and negligence in handling customers’ belongings. As a result, several of our items were damaged.
They also packed oil containers and other liquid items without proper sealing or covering, which led to leakage and damage to other goods. Our sofa table has been badly damaged and now requires complete repair. Three buckets were broken, and many showpieces were damaged beyond use and had to be discarded.
Another major concern was the manpower and efficiency. Only three people were assigned for packing, out of which only two were working properly, while one person was completely unproductive. Due to this, the packing process started at 9:00 AM and continued until 4:00 AM the next day, which clearly shows poor planning and lack of professionalism.
Additionally, they did not follow a proper room-wise packing process. Instead of completing one room at a time, items from different rooms were mixed and packed together. This created significant confusion and made it extremely difficult to label the boxes correctly. As a result, unpacking has become very stressful and time-consuming.
There was no attention to detail, no proper safety measures, and no accountability for the damages caused. It felt like their only priority was to complete the work and collect payment, rather than ensuring safe and secure delivery.
Relocation is already a stressful process, and such poor service only adds to the burden. I strongly do not recommend Geonex Packers and Movers for long-distance shifting.
It is always better to choose a reliable and professional service provider, even if it costs slightly more, to ensure your belongings are handled safely.
Overall, it was a very frustrating and disappointing experience.
