I had booked for transportation of my luggage and car from Om Packers and Movers Private Limited from Faridkot to Silchar. The services booked included Packing, Loading, Unloading and Transportation. From day on the experience has been pathetic. Mr Jitendra had no sense of speaking to a customer. He was rude& abusive. As soon as he received the advance he started asking for full and final payment which was 2 months prior to the date decided for move.
Jitender persisted on making the complete payment or he would cancel the truck and refund the advance. It was completely unprofessional and I was scared as at such a short notice it would be difficult to arrange for a truck.
The truck was supposed to arrive at my doorstep on 26th of June however the truck got delayed and for 2 days there was no trace of the vehicle. Finally on 28 of June after number of calls a small truck arrived at my doorstep. I was shocked to see such a small truck since we had book a large truck for my 3 BHK items and Tata Safari Car.
The employee, Mr Jitender when question refused to answer any of the calls. He said that either we load our luggage into the truck or we can look for some other transporter and the money paid would be forfeited. We had no option but to oblige. The individuals who had come for loading when equally unprofessional and rude and did not know even the basics of loading a vehicle. They ask for extra money to load and said that we will have to pay for their food and tea as well.
Secondly, as was decided earlier no truck for picking up my vehicle came to my doorstep. Instead two gutka chewing individuals came the next day and asked for the car keys and claimed that the vehicle needed to be driven to Delhi for loading. My car was given all the way to Gurgaon on my own fuel expenditure.
Then came the most horrible part of the complete process. My vehicle was delivered badly damaged at Silchar. The vehicle was driven for more than 1400 km at harsh speeds. The vehicle was involved in an accident and number of challans were issued enroute. The same was informed to the transporter and dealer however no action was taken neither was the complaint acknowledged. The driver denied any responsibility. My car keys were broken, the vehicle was completely submerged in mud, the mats and bedsheet inside were missing, fuel was literally zero, can be confirmed from before after photos and car accessories were missing.
Even after 30 days my truck which was full of my household items was untraceable. Mr Jitendra denied taking any accountability or responsibility and instead gave me number of drivers to co-ordinate. I was completely shocked and dumb struck. This were the most horrible 30 days of my life where we were staying without her household items and even had to suffer financial losses. My kids could not go to school since that uniform's books and everything was still in route.
Exactly after 30 days my luggage truck came at Silchar. To our horror the complete items were opened and most of my luggage was damaged or missing. All are glass items pact carefully at Faridkot were opened and broken. There was damage to swing, speakers, inverter, ACs, household kitchen items, motorcycle (seat torn, gear broken, indicator broken, fuel removed, light broken, brakes Damaged), kids toys and cycle, kids electric car, mattress, Mandir, TV, glass table, bar, metal trunks. Photos like click and the matter was immediately informed to Jitendra however the individual spoke very rudely and said that even the company cannot do anything about this and that we will have to bear the losses.
Imagine if this can happen to a Senior Officer of the Indian Army then how they must be treating ordinary civilians.
Please avoid their services at all costs and beware of fake reviews.

In my 17 years of experience, I have used several reputed movers and packers for relocation. However, my recent experience with Om Packers and Movers has been the worst by far.
I booked their service for shifting from Faridabad to Ghaziabad and had clearly confirmed with Mr. Sanjay Jangra that only a single vehicle would be used. Unfortunately, none of the commitments were honored.
On the day of shifting:
The team did not arrive on time.
Multiple vehicles were used instead of one.
The packing quality was extremely poor, with most foam sheets already torn.
The staff appeared unskilled and unprofessional.
The entire process took almost double the expected time.
In fact, my wife and I had to step in and help with the packing just to speed things up.
Despite repeated complaints, there was no proper response from Mr. Sanjay Jangra or his team. When I contacted the head office, instead of addressing my concerns, they were more interested in asking how much I had paid.
To make matters worse:
My bed was not assembled properly.
Important bed nuts were lost during shifting.
Their solution was simply to deduct ₹100 and ask me to purchase replacements myself.
This level of negligence and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable.
I strongly do not recommend Om Packers and Movers to anyone.
