Approached Patel Packers for moving all my things from Hosur to Pantnagar which is a 2200 kilometre shift.
Support from the team was very good. The team person, Disha on call was very responsive and polite both over call as well as through text. She helped with every step no matter when I called or...

I recently used Patel Packers and Movers for a domestic (Chembur to Mulund) transfer of my 3 BHK apartment, and the experience was mediocre. While they initially reviewed the apartment and belongings thoroughly, the actual packing and moving day was chaotic.

On the day of packing, there was no supervisor present, leaving the laborers completely disorganized. This lack of oversight led to several problems. The biggest issue was that they brought a small truck, which could only accommodate about 60% of my household items. Despite knowing from a previous move from Kolkata that a larger truck was necessary (and informing them of this from the beginning), their laborers initially refused to arrange for a bigger truck.
Ironically, they had to book additional transport help online through the Porter app once they realized the issue themselves.

The absence of supervision resulted in poor packing quality, and several of my glass antiques were broken.
Now the biggest problem of all , despite being aware of the strict check-in time at the destination society (which I had already repeatedly communicated to them), they failed to arrive on time. This caused the society lift to be blocked, leading to significant difficulties for me.

The only positive aspect was their low quotation of 23,000 INR for a full 3 BHK move plus 3,000 INR for fitting two ACs. However, the AC charges were misleading, as I ended up paying an additional 14-15,000 INR for gas, pipes, and copper wires to the AC mechanic.

Despite my losses, I paid the full amount plus on-the-spot commissions (bakhshish) to all the laborers, appreciating their hard work. Overall, I would only recommend Patel Packers and Movers if you are willing to compromise on quality. While their quotes are competitive, they allocate fewer laborers and no supervisors, leading to a disorganized and stressful moving experience. The damage to my belongings and the logistical headaches were not worth the savings.

I have got the several household items damaged and there is no response on the complaint.
