Most notably, the mirror of my wardrobe has been broken. After Multiple Attempts of Calling neither we have received a call back nor a reply message, Such an Un-Professional Response
In addition to the damage, the work has been left incomplete. The wardrobe assembly is still pending, and the air conditioner installation has not been completed as promised. This has caused significant inconvenience.
I request you to urgently address the following:
Replacement of the damaged items, especially the broken wardrobe mirror
Completion of the pending wardrobe assembly
Immediate installation of the air conditioner

I am sharing my awful experience with G&S Packers and Movers Kochi (for a move from Kakkanad to TVM (190kms approx) so no one else falls into the same trap. What was supposed to be a simple, smooth move turned into pure extortion, broken belongings, and total frustration.
1. Scammed on Price & Bait-and-Switch Tactics
The Original Deal: They initially quoted me ₹3,500 for packing (less than 10 items) and promised the total cost for shared packing and moving would be around ₹8,000 to ₹9,000.
Manipulating Item Count: I provided my own cartons and two trolley bags. Even though I had fewer than 5 main items, they deliberately packed them half-empty to make it look like more boxes, then suddenly jacked up the packing charge to ₹5,500.
Changing Their Words: Once packing was done, they completely flipped their story and claimed ₹9,000 was for shipping alone, plus the ₹5,500 packing fee—slapping me with a bill for ₹14,500.
2. Careless Packing & Taking Advantage
Zero Sorting: They didn't sort a single thing. They literally swept random household items and garbage straight into the cartons together.
Exploiting My Situation: I was extremely sick on the day of packing, and they clearly took full advantage of my vulnerability to pull these tricks.
3. Absolute Chaos During Delivery & Serious Damage
Handed Off to a useless Subcontractor: They dumped the delivery onto another unprofessional third-party team who made an absolute mess at the destination.
Fake Excuses: They refused to drive up the slope leading to my house, lying that their vehicle’s pump was damaged. This is a standard road that all kinds of vehicles use every day in all weather conditions, with and without load.
Refused Help & Forced a Transfer: My driver offered to drive their vehicle up to my doorstep himself, but they stubbornly refused his help. Instead, they demanded we hire another local vehicle. When we said no, they booked one themselves and forced a unnecessary transfer of all my luggage for a 10 meter slop distance.
Destroyed Belongings: During this sloppy, careless transfer, they broke my expensive air fryer and delivered a box of clothes and pillows (which they had stupidly labeled "Fragile") completely soaked through.
4. Intoxicated & Clumsy Staff (Manager Included)
The staff were totally clueless, clumsy, and acted like they were drunk or completely untrained.
To make matters worse, their manager was physically present during packing and let all of this misconduct happen right in front of him.
5. Zero Accountability
When I reached out to demand answers about my destroyed air fryer, soaked clothes, and bloated bill, they completely ghosted me. No answers, no apology, and zero responsibility.
Final Note:
This isn't a professional moving service—it feels like a group of opportunists out to cheat customers. I have already discussed this entire incident with my legal team and am actively proceeding with a formal complaint in the Consumer Court.
Save yourself the money and headache: Do NOT hire G&S Packers and Movers Kochi.
I have added photos of mishandled luggage and the slop they refused to drive up.
Also consider the items they transferred were only clothes, 10-15 books, cooking utensils used for a two people in a studio apartment. It included only one electronic item- airfryer - and they damaged it.
Note: they took my cello tape and marker while leaving claiming it's theirs. They came with 1 cello tape and took 2 of mine.
