I paid ₹70,000 for my household shifting, but despite paying such a significant amount, the service was highly unprofessional from start to finish.
1. Major delay in delivery:
I was clearly committed a delivery date of 1st September, but my household goods are being delivered only on 6th September — a delay of almost a week. This caused significant inconvenience and disruption to my plans.
2. Poor coordination during pickup:
Even during the pickup, there was a lot of miscommunication and poor coordination. The pickup timing that was committed was not followed, and I had to deal with unnecessary delays and confusion.
3. Pathetic customer support:
The customer care experience has been extremely frustrating. Supervisors have been rude, and many times the concerned people simply don't answer calls. When you are dealing with someone's entire household and belongings, this level of communication is completely unacceptable.
4. Delivery vehicle stopped 800 metres away:
The worst part is that even after the long delay, the delivery vehicle was stopped approximately 800 metres away from my destination, with the driver claiming that the vehicle could not go further.
I personally showed the driver the entire route and explained that the vehicle can easily reach the destination. The only issue is that while returning, the driver may have to reverse for around 200 metres. Instead of doing that, I was asked to pay separately and book a porter to move my belongings.
My question is simple: After paying ₹70,000 for household shifting, why should I have to pay additional money because the driver does not want to manoeuvre the vehicle?
This entire experience has been stressful, poorly managed and completely lacking in professionalism. The service promised at the time of booking and the actual service delivered are worlds apart.
I would not recommend Agrawal Packers & Movers to anyone looking for a reliable and hassle-free relocation service. Please be extremely careful before paying them and make sure every commitment is documented in writing.
